Our Story
Brenda and Ricky Ennis purchased Stainless Steel Specialties, Inc. from Rayford and Geraldine Ivey and took over full operation on October 1, 2001. Mr. Ivey was Brenda's uncle, therefore we were able to keep the company in the family. Since the buy out in 2001 Stainless Steel Specialties has grown each year!
Stainless Steel Specialties, Inc. was established in 1991 as a facility to have your stainless and other metals welded as you needed. As years pasted welding became only a minor part of what the public required. In 1993 the Clearing Niagara shear and press brake were added to the equipment list as we begin doing more complete fabrication and expanded our products to carbon steel, galvanized, aluminum, and lexan. In order to compete with the changing economy, our first laser, Mitsubishi 2512LXP was purchased in 1996 which also brought the world of computers and CAD systems into our shop to support CNC controlled equipment. As our business continued to grow we purchased a second laser, Mitsubishi 3015 HD, with a 5' X 10' cutting pallet. With the volume of work that came with the new laser we were forced to purchase a second press brake, Baykal APHS 2104, in 2008. This was a smaller but much faster unit than the 175 Ton Niagara brake and enhanced our capacity significantly. That brings us to were we are today with all the necessary equipment, knowledge, and man power to complete most any of your fabrication needs.
